We designed the new headquarters for Digital Value, a Helsinki-based e-commerce company. At the core of this project lies a versatile space that seamlessly blends the kitchen with an event area, conceived to enhance both community engagement and productivity.
From the outset, we guided Digital Value through a strategic evaluation of potential locations, ensuring that the chosen space not only met their current needs but also embodied their vision for the future. This process gave rise to a spatial concept inspired by astronomy—a metaphor for expansion and evolution that defines this new era of work.

A Journey Between Earth and Space
The layout is structured into two distinct zones: one dedicated to focused work and the other designed for collaborative interaction. The conceptual narrative draws inspiration from the relationship between Earth and the cosmos—a balance between stability and exploration. This atmosphere materializes in the shapes of the furniture, the lighting, and the spatial composition, where every element encourages fluid and natural interaction. From formal meeting rooms to more relaxed team spaces, the office fosters creativity, idea exchange, and productivity. At its center, the event space serves as the ultimate meeting point, where visitors and employees are immediately immersed in Digital Value’s culture.
Beauty and Functionality in Service of Growth
Digital Value’s rapid expansion—recognized by the Financial Times as Finland’s second-fastest-growing company in 2019—demanded a workspace designed to evolve alongside the company. Acoustic quality, privacy, and flexibility were key pillars in this project. Custom-designed dividers enhance spatial quality, creating environments that seamlessly adapt to both deep focus and dynamic collaboration. This office is not just a response to operational needs; it is a projection of Digital Value’s identity into the future, facilitating its growth and attracting top talent.

The event space is a multifunctional environment that effortlessly adapts to diverse activities, from meetings and recruitment events to film screenings and celebrations.
Technology plays a pivotal role in shaping this experience, granting users complete control over their surroundings. An intelligent lighting system, managed through an intuitive app, allows each space to be personalized with a single tap—optimizing interaction and reinforcing the identity of an environment designed for innovation.
