Community life, especially within the family, reflects the character of individuals who, over time, transcend the boundaries of the home in search of greater connection and influence in their immediate environment. People seek spaces that truly represent their identity, places where collaboration flourishes and a genuine sense of belonging is created.
This perspective is used to approach the renovation of this commercial space.
The intervention at Rosaleda Mall aims to create an attractive, experiential destination that combines leisure, entertainment, operational efficiency, and aesthetic harmony. As an active part of its community, the center must coexist and adapt to its context, offering contemporary and innovative services aligned with current needs.

The space offers multiple viewpoints from which to enjoy the landscape. Through versatile and functional design elements, the terrace is configured as a visual and social hub for the community, enriching the user experience.
The interior structure is designed with fluidity in mind, offering an open and flexible layout that facilitates both movement and functionality.
The terrace is designed as an extension of the surroundings, where natural elements interact with the architecture.
Art as a community approach
This artistic project seeks to inspire people by involving them in transforming the environment in which they live. Its goal is to empower vulnerable communities through participatory mural creation processes. These interventions not only improve the aesthetics of the neighborhood, but also transform residents' perception of their environment as a livable place, further strengthening community ties.
Rosaleda Mall retains its core values while adopting a revamped aesthetic that enhances the overall visitor experience.
Revitalizing Rosaleda: A Community-Centered Transformation
Art and design create emotional connections and encourage local participation.
We build on the center's existing strengths to continue enhancing the space. Rosaleda maintains a direct relationship with its surroundings, almost like an extension of the street, with a wide range of restaurants and abundant natural light that gives rise to spacious interiors and open squares.
On this basis, the intervention introduces an emotional dimension. This is where the concept of "local stars" comes in: spaces designed to showcase local talent and businesses, creating emotional ties with visitors and reinforcing a sense of community.
The internal connections of Rosaleda Mall act as its engine, driving all activity within the complex. The proposed update goes beyond aesthetics to improve services, seeking to generate greater familiarity and closeness with users. By understanding the center as an extension of the street and the neighborhood, access ceases to be a simple threshold and becomes an open and welcoming door.
Our main goal is to make each visit a unique and personal experience. To achieve this, we have incorporated initiatives such as collaboration with the local Rosaleda school and the use of art as a social catalyst. Collaboration is the central axis of the project: neighbors become co-creators, transforming the building from a fixed structure into a flexible space, shaped and enriched by the community.
